Jim Stanley founded this company in 1988. His son Mike runs it today. One of them is on every single job, start to finish, with the same crew that has been with us for years. We own our trucks, our paver, and our rollers. We don’t rent equipment, we don’t sub out work, and we don’t send a salesman who disappears after the estimate. We are based in Gaithersburg and serve Montgomery County exclusively.

He provided a written proposal with a great price within 10 minutes, and he did the job just 3 days later. Jim, was at the site to supervise the crew. He was able to work the driveway with a little issue in the driveway. After finishing the work, he promised me to call him back so they could finish the unfinished spot.
Another good thing with Jim, he was the only one of five companies who responded to give an estimate. That to me is great customer service.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. J Stanley Asphalt replaced our driveway 4 years ago and did an excellent job,  digging out bad areas and putting a good thick layer of asphalt down. They sealed it two years ago and again today.  The driveway looks almost new.
